FAQ
I'd like to upload bags to the website atleast once a month, but it will be dependent on whether I am doing local events and the amount of product I have on hand.
Bags sell out quickly and I work as much as I can to build enough inventory for a sale, but please keep in mind that I am a one woman opperation with five children. Life can be a little crazy sometimes.
Currently my puffin bags are only sold through Salmon Sisters. Check their website www.aksalmonsisters.com or check out their flagship stores in Seward, AK & Homer, AK.
I wish I could do more wholesale, but at the moment I am maxed out on wholesale commitments. This could change as I evolve and hire employees, or clone myslef.
I, Juanita, sew up every bag in my home studio on the Kenai Peninsula in Kasilof Alaska.
Unfortunately no, I don't do custom orders.
Most bags are made of cotton or canvas and can be hand washed or machine wash cold inside out. Lay flat to dry. Iron if you wish, just don't let your iron touch the zipper or label.
If you have a waxed canvas or laminated cotton bag, just wipe clean with a wet cloth.
My art studio is heated with a cozy little wood stove, so if there's a slight smell of smoke that is why. I do my best to mitigate any smoke smell with an air purifier.
Also, I have a studio kitty, Katze. He keeps me company in the studio and loves to lay in front of the wood stove. I am quite particular about fabric and bag cleanliness but if there's a rogue cat hair I apologize.
